Sorry for the absence.
My OB said that I am now free to exercise my legs a little more so David and I moved back home. I am still confined to the house and the same rules - no housework, sex, baths, etc. - plenty of rest and feet up as much as possible, but I can be mobile around the house whenever I need anything.
Easing up on the bedrest wasn't possible at MIL's since I was isolated from the rest of the house by a flight of stairs. Exercising my legs with a staircase wasn't something I was willing to attempt. I can now also shower without having to wait for David's assistance since the shower over there was located over a large corner spa I practically had to pole vault to get in to.
My OB has also given my girls an eviction date for 37w5d. So either way my girls will be here within 19 days - eek! The plan is to attempt a VB if I go into spontaneous labour and only if deemed the safest option. If I were to reach eviction day it will be a C/S as I am not comfortable with attempting an induction with twins.

YAY ... so good to get the update. And great that you get to spend some time at your home for a while before the bubs arrive. 19 days hey you can count them down on your fingers and toes now! :-)
Way to go! You are super woman I tell you!
You have done such an amazing job in carrying your girls for so long. Bedrest isn't fun, particularly when every move could result in PROM. I'm in awe!!! Hope the next 19 days pass peacefully and pleasantly!
You make me want to cry I am so utterly impressed with you!
You're cruising hun.
Those 19 days will probably drag though.
And it's great that you get the last days at home.
35 weeks was always my goal with the boys. Most hospitals class 36 weeks as full term for twins so WOW.
You've done so well!
woo hoo, congrats on making 35 weeks Imy!! Was getting very nervous when I hadn't seen an update lol. That's great that you can move around a bit more now...esp that you get to go home! Enjoy the last days of your pregnancy :)
YEY! Wasn't I right when I said previously that you're amazing?! I knew you'd get this far, and how fantastic! Having gone through an awful 24 hours of labor only to end up with a c-section with my twins after being induced, I strongly recommend what it sounds you're already leaning towards- no vaginal birth if you're being induced. Right on, Mama!!!
Wow, girl! This so great you have already made it to 35wks!
And being able to move about in the house... in YOUR OWN HOUSE! What a relief! :)
Fantastic! The relaxed restrictions are a testament to the great work you've been doing keeping those babies healthy.
If you get bored on house bedrest, I'd love to see a post explaining why you don't want to do an induction with twins.
Good luck in the home stretch! (ha ha, get it? home?)
